Emalex–M enamel

Enamel is a suspension of titanium dioxide rutile, fillers in the mix of epoxy phenol composition.
Emalex–M white enamel is recommended as prime-enamel for varnishing of sheet before lithography.
Emalex–M is used for inner coating as a base on white sheet of electrolytic and hot-dig tinning., chromed sheet, black sheet before lithography. Sheet covered with Emalex–M enamel may be used in production both for food tare and metal one for lacquer-and-lacquer materials, lubricants, etc.
Recommended coating – 10-12 g/m2 according to solid residual.
Drying temperature – 170-175îÑ.
Drying time – 10-12 minutes.
Coating varnish is needed.
Technical characteristics
1. Appearance of the enamel
Homogeneous white substance without extraneous mechanical impurities.
2. Appearance of enamel film.
After getting dry the enamel should be plain and flat of white color.
3. Viscosity By viscosimeter VZ-246 with nozzle diameter of (4,000±0,015) mm at t° = 20,0±0,5°Ñ: in the range of 100-150 sec.
4. Film adhesion, points, no more than 11
5. Mass concentration of nonvolatile substance: 52-58 %
6. Enamel grinding degree according to Klyn device (grindometer), mkm: no more than 10
7. Dry time to degree 3 at t° = 170-180oÑ: no more than 12-15 min
8. Capacity of the film being damaged, kg/cm: no more than 50
9. Capacity of the film while stamping
After stamping the film should be solid at inner and outer sides.
10. Porosity – there must be no craters and pores on the surface.
