Fiberglass mat
Fiberglass mat - non-woven product, made with chopped glass fibers, randomly twisted, fastened to each other with silane (special emulsion), soluble in unsaturated polyester resin. This product is characterized by good impregnation with resins, easy to use.
APPLICATION:
Fiberglass mat is used for production of various products, structural and electrically insulating parts of electric and technical devices, specific large-sized items that are used in engineering and other industries.
The proposed fiberglass mats are used in fiber glass mat hand lay-up, for production of fiberglass mat according to closed molding technology and its products.
Emulsion fiberglass mat is made of chopped glass fibers containing low percentage of caustic soda. Density of fiberglass mat: 300, 450, 600 g/m2 and others.
Improved characteristics of the proposed fiberglass mats were confirmed by testing and showed the best results among similar materials for use by Khimlex at the own production of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP).
